Hydroscav Oil Purifiers are small, compact, and lightweight. They have a minimum number of moving parts and do not require expensive, consumable spare parts. The only replacement parts are inexpensive filter elements. They have no complex, failure-prone instrumentation or electrical control equipment. Gravity return
units are recommended to eliminate the need for flow control and return pump. An optional feed/effluent heat exchanger is available if steam or electricity costs are high.

Hydroscavs can be constructed of Type 316 stainless steel or carbon steel to resist corrosion and increase durability. The open frame design reduces weight and permits easy monitoring and maintenance.
